Joe Lackey Sr. (1903-1986)
Graduated from Cumberland School of Law in 1936 and practiced in Nashville for 50 years where he won many cases against major insurance companies, recovering awards for Tennesseeans who were having life insurance proceeds fraudulently withheld. Joseph L. Lackey Sr. was a lawyer for the people who vigorously advocated for the rights of the people when corporations wished to deny them of those rights.

Graduated from Vanderbilt Law School and has continued in his father’s legacy of advocating for the rights of all people. He has been in private practice for over 25 years defending and ensuring the rights of hard working Americans against the interests of those who wish to sell them short. Mr. Lackey is routinely involved in complex tort litigation, commercial and residential real estate transactions, estate and probate matters, drafting of wills, contract drafting and entity formation.
In his free time he enjoys working in his garden and enjoying his horses and cattle.

A graduate of Nashville School of Law. Mr. Lackey has handled a wide variety of litigation and transactional issues, including derivative suits, entity formation, complex real estate transactions, personal injury cases, and breach of contract cases involving alternative dispute resolution.
In his Joe’s free time he enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing and following his favorite sporting franchises.
Julianne Lackey graduated from Samford University in 2010, cum laude, with a degree in Biology, Pre-Med. Upon graduation she moved to California where she worked in the music industry, for a renowned brain surgeon, and attained a professional ranking in beach volleyball. Julianne, a native of Nashville, returned in 2015 to begin law school at Belmont University College of Law. She served as a member of the Health Law Review for which she authored a Note and served as the Symposium Director for the 2018 Practitioner’s Guide to Health Care Law and Policy. She received the Best Performance Award in Contract Drafting and graduated with a Juris Doctor in 2018.
In her spare time, Julianne still enjoys playing beach volleyball, hiking, and spending time at her father’s farm in Hickman County.
