As a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a B.S. in Political Science and Nashville School of Law, Joe has handled a wide variety of litigation and transactional issues, including derivative suits, entity formation, complex real estate transactions, personal injury cases, and breach of contract cases involving alternative dispute resolution. Additionally, Joe Lackey represents a number of businesses across Tennessee that include, franchise restaurants, grocery stores, property management companies, aviation companies, contractors, entities, private investors, as well as, many start-up companies looking to take their business or ideas to the next level. Joe prides himself on making sure that businesses do everything legally necessary to be successful over the long term.
Joe is actively involved as a Board Member of a Non-profit called the Center for Living and Learning. The Center for Living and Learning is a residential treatment facility that specializes in the treatment of men and women that suffer from severe mental illnesses, specifically Bi-Polar and Schizophrenia.
In Joe’s free time he enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing and following his favorite sporting franchises.
